As the New York Yankees kick off spring training, 15-year veteran pitcher Carlos Carrasco is on a mission to prove he still belongs in the major leagues.
Despite signing a minor league deal, Carrasco is determined to secure a spot in the Yankees' already deep pitching rotation.
"I always come into spring training to compete. I never back down," Carrasco said. "I come to compete and stay on the team."
For three years, Carrasco was the ace in Cleveland. Three years ago - after battling Leukemia - he won 15 games for the Mets.
