News 12 has obtained video recorded by a Pace University student which he says proves that police mishandled the incident that resulted in the death of a fellow student last Sunday. The cell phone video that Rob Coulombe says he took allegedly shows the aftermath of a melee outside Finnegan's Grill in Thornwood that left Danroy Henry, 20, dead. Coulombe says although he didn't actually see the shooting, he saw Henry drive away as ordered by a police officer. Witnesses say an officer knocked on Henry's window and as Henry pulled out, the cop was hit by a side-view mirror. According to witnesses, that's when another officer jumped in front of the car, landing on the hood, and then fired the deadly shots."I think they overreacted completely," Coulombe says. Police, however, say they were forced to open fire to save their lives. While those who were on the scene of the incident say they weren't allowed to help Henry after he was hit, the video shows a woman performing CPR on him.Police say they are still awaiting Henry's toxicology report.
