State police are reminding drivers to move over on New York roads after one trooper had a life-threatening close call in Westchester.
Trooper Robert Schaeffer was caught on camera while performing a traffic stop on Interstate 95 in New Rochelle when a driver rammed into his car, ripping off the door.
Schaeffer survived with minor injuries -- but police are asking drivers to be careful and vigilant while behind the wheel, especially near emergency vehicles.
