A vigil for a Spring Valley man who was killed early Saturday took place on Thursday.
Friends and family gathered at the home of Stalin de la Cruz Tigselima to honor a life lost too soon.
Tigselima, 20, was walking to his home on Van Orden Avenue in Spring Valley early Saturday morning when he was stabbed several times in the stomach, his back and his chest.
Family members quickly responded. He was taken to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Stalin's family says he was a good guy, with no prior record or any sort of violent history.
His friends and family say they are devastated and want justice. They say his phone is missing, so they think it may have been a robbery gone wrong.
The family is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
