A makeshift memorial has been set up on the street where police say 19-year-old Tyriiq Seward was killed.
Tyriiq Seward was shot and killed Monday night on Rose Avenue. While the teen is a native of Spring Valley, he had been living in South Carolina. His family says he wanted to be a music artist and was only visiting to shoot a music video.

There is a basketball at the memorial because Seward's family said he loved the sport and always had one with him.
The memorial also has a graduation doll because he was set to graduate from high school next month.
