The mayor of the Village of Goshen is resigning, according to village officials.

Molly O'Donnell's last day will be Friday, March 13. She says she has deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve her community.

O'Donnell said she made the decision to continue her role as commissioner of jurors for Orange County.

The village board is expected to appoint Deputy Mayor Scott Wohl to ensure a smooth transition and carry out the remainder of her term.
