Violent student threat prompts additional police at Temple Hill Academy

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District tells News 12 a group of teens allegedly involved were identified by New Windsor police after administration was alerted to concerns by students, staff and parents.

A violent student threat aimed at kids at Temple Hill Academy is under investigation by police.
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District tells News 12 a group of teens allegedly involved were identified by New Windsor police after administration was alerted to concerns by students, staff and parents.
The district says there’s no immediate danger to the school but that additional police officers were there today as a precaution.
Administrators say the students' parents were notified and the district is working with police during the investigation.
