Here's a look at some of the highly contested races spanning from Westchester to Rockland counties this Election Day.
News 12's Tara Rosenblum was in New Rochelle, where the race for mayor was historic as Yadira Ramos-Herbert declared victory.
News 12's Nadia Galindo was in Westchester's largest city where Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano declared victory for a fourth term. 
News 12's Jonathan Gordon was in Yorktown to monitor the race for the chair of the Westchester Board of Legislators and the race for Yorktown town supervisor.
News 12's Ben Nandy was in Dutchess County, where Sue Serino declared victory in the county executive race.
News 12's Diane Caruso was in Clarkstown, where George Hoehmann declared victory in the race for town supervisor.
