Hundreds of friends and family members attended a wake yesterday for FDNY firefighter Gary Valentino, who died last week.
Valentino, who lived in Warwick, was a 12-year veteran who was assigned to Engine 43 in the Bronx. He was found dead at the firehouse Friday morning.
He was only 41 years old, but had been suffering from a long-term heart condition.
Funeral services will be held today at St. Stephen's Church at 10:30 a.m. in Warwick.
