A wanted felon was arrested after attempting to break into a Tompkins Terrace apartment early Sunday morning, according to Beacon police.
Responding to a distress call reporting the break-in, authorities found the unnamed individual still at the location upon arrival.
Following an inquiry, law enforcement confirmed the apprehended man as a two-time convicted felon sought in Newburgh for additional robbery charges. He has been transferred to the Newburgh Police Department.
