Public works crews in Warwick are getting ready for Wednesday's expected storm.
Warwick DPW Commissioner Ben Astorino tells News 12 they expect to use about 1,000 ton of salt sand mix throughout the day Wednesday.
He says 14 crews will be on hand and ready to work a double shift.
“It's going to be a sloppy mess, which we expect and are ready for," said Astorino. "We have material on hand, trucks are ready to go. Men are ready to go. Women are ready to go.“
Astorino says people can help crews get roads cleared faster by staying home as much as possible and parking in driveways, rather than on the street.
