Gov. Kathy Hochul was sworn in as the first female-elected governor in New York.
Gov. Hochul served the remaining 16 months of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo's term.
Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado, Attorney General Letitia James and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli also took the oath of office Sunday afternoon.
The inauguration was held at Empire State Plaza Convention Center.
