Campbell Avenue was shut down from Cragmere Road to Hall Avenue around 6 a.m.
The roadway was submerged in water. Water also gushed into properties near the break.
Water service was shut down for hours, impacting eight customers.
No boil water advisory was issued.
Veolia officials have not determined a cause for the break.
