All eyes are on Hurricane Irene as the storm pounds the Bahamas and continues its way toward the East Coast.
News 12 Westchester meteorologists say dangerous conditions are possible for Sunday, including heavy rain and gusty winds between 40-80 mph. In addition, low-lying areas should gear up for expected floods from local rivers.
Weather officials say the next 36-48 hours are critical in determining the storm's course and whether it will be a direct hit, or just a major dousing.
Irene is currently a Category 3 hurricane with winds of 115 mph.
