WHAT'S NEW: A storm system moves up the East Coast, pushing moisture over into the colder-than-average air around us. Rain showers are expected for nearly everyone overnight with a gradual changeover to some mixed showers to some flurries east of the Hudson River. Accumulations are not anticipated, but roadways could be slick/slippery.
WHAT'S NEXT: A chill will settle in from Wednesday night into Thursday, and a Freeze Watch is in place for southern Westchester County during that time frame. Temperatures will continue to bounce back Thursday and into the weekend, with the Pick of the Week arriving Saturday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 60.
OVERNIGHT: Weather To Watch - Cloudy with showers moving in. Most will see rain showers, but a few higher elevated areas could see some mixed precipitation. Lows: mid-to-upper-30s.
WEDNESDAY: Weather To Watch (AM) - Nov. 1 – Mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain & mixed showers. Some higher elevated areas, east of the Hudson River, from northern Westchester to Dutchess Counties, may see a few flakes or ice pellets mixed in. Highs: mid-to-upper-40s. Lows: low-to-mid-30s.
THURSDAY: Mainly sunny skies. Highs: upper 40s to low 50s. Lows: low-to-mid-30s.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny and mild. Highs: mid-to-upper-50s. Lows: upper 30s to low 40s.
