Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says rain moves in for Thursday and some parts of the Hudson Valley could see a mix of rain and snow.
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH -- Mainly cloudy with a few mixed snow and rain showers during the morning commute. Steadier rain, more impactful weather, arrives by evening. Highs around 50 degrees late. Steady rain and a bit gusty overnight with gusts close to 30-40 mph for a few hours. Lows around 48 degrees. Isolated thunderstorms are possible.
FRIDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH (EARLY AM) -- Steady rain early, tapering off between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. with wind subsiding through the afternoon but wet conditions for the morning commute. Isolated thunderstorms are possible early. Rain totals between one-half inch and one inch. Much drier for the afternoon with mainly cloudy skies. Highs around 53 degrees. Lows around 30 degrees.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Colder but still close to seasonable. Highs around 40. Lows near 27.
