NEW: Rain expected to fall throughout Thursday, with wintry mix in some areas.
NEXT: Chilly, cloudy conditions for the weekend. 
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says Thursday will see steady rain and chances for a brief wintry mix. 
OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cold. Lows around 34.
THURSDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH: Steady rain after 8 a.m. The evening commute will be impacted by pockets of moderate to heavy rain. A brief wintry mix is possible at the start north of I-84. Highs around 42. Lows near 39. Rain ends by 10 p.m. A few flakes possible north of I-84 late. No accumulation.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny and a little milder. A few spotty snow showers north of I-84, no accumulations. Highs up to 44. Lows crash to 30.
SATURDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Chilly. Highs around 40. Lows around 29.
SUNDAY- WEATHER TO WATCH: Mostly cloudy. Either a wintry mix or rain arrives near sundown. Expected to be steady if not heavy at night. Highs near 39. Lows down to 33.
MONDAY: Showers end by 9 a.m., then turning sunny and chilly. Highs near 42. Lows down to 27.
TUESDAY: Clouds increase. Highs near 43. Lows down to 28.
