The Westchester Black Women's Political Caucus is celebrating its 45th anniversary at the Castle Royale in Yonkers.
The list of guests at the caucus reads like a who's who of New York politics, including state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.
"Traditionally, Black women have supported others. Joe Biden won because of the support he received from Black women,” said WBWPC President Subomi Macauley. “We are making sure our faces and names are in the political process here in Westchester County."
