3h agoWestchester County officials on Monday passed several laws that will expand infrastructure projects in the area.
Officials approved $2 million to be pulled from the budget for the design and development of a state-of-the-art fire training tower. The tower will replace the existing 50-year-old tower located on the grasslands reservation in Valhalla.
Sixty affordable housing units will be coming to a building on 23 Mulberry Street in Yonkers and 73 affordable rental units are also coming to two buildings.
Most of the units at 178 Warburton Ave. and 160 cottage gardens will become options for low-income renters.
