A Westchester County teenager is facing charges after allegedly speeding away from police and driving without a license.
According to authorities, the 16-year-old was speeding on Route 202 when an officer attempted to pull the car over. However, the teenager sped off and subsequently crashed, according to investigators.
It was revealed that the driver did not possess a valid driver's license. The teenager was then released to a guardian.
The teen is scheduled to appear at the department of probation on April 9 and at Yorktown Justice Court a week later.
