Westchester County’s Environmental Facilities hosted its 5th annual Eco Awards.

Residents, schools, municipalities and businesses were honored for contributions to the environment and sustainability.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer thanked the organizations for being an example of thinking globally and acting locally.

Some recipients included city of White Plains, Rye and the Village of Irvington.
