Westchester DA: Gang member found guilty in 2021 Yonkers assault

Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah says a member of the 300 Bloodhound Brims street gang faces five to 25 years in state prison for the assault.

A jury found a reputed gang member guilty of a violent 2021 assault in Yonkers.
Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah says a member of the 300 Bloodhound Brims street gang faces five to 25 years in state prison for the assault.
Develle Coates, 20, was found guilty of hitting the 33-year-old victim in the head with a glass bottle on North Broadway.
The attack continued with several people hitting and kicking the victim, giving them a traumatic brain injury.
Coates is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2.
Twelve other defendants all pleaded guilty in the case.
