Despite the federal government claiming there would be no shortage of flu shots this year, many health officials are having trouble getting them.
T-he Westchester Health Department estimates that 150,000 people already got a flu shot this year. The department alone doled out 7,000 doses at 50 clinics it sponsored.However, Dr. Joshua Lipsman says the department could use another 7,000 to meet the demand.
A Medical Society of New York survey determined 60 percent of doctors still haven't received flu vaccines.
