A Westchester millionaire has announced his candidacy to seek the Republican nomination for governor.
Harry Wilson, a businessman, investor and re-structuring expert, says he was running as an outsider to turn around New York.
Along with his announcement, Wilson is also placing a $12 million television ad buy.
Wilson says as governor he will repeal the Cuomo/Hochul tax increases, tackle the high cost of living and end cashless bail.
Wilson joins Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin, former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Andrew Giuliani, son of the former New York City mayor, as seeking the nomination.
The party’s convention starts next Monday in Garden City, Long Island.
