Westchester County officials are making it easier and less expensive for students to travel.

County Executive Ken Jenkins has proposed expanding student OMNY cards to four trips a day, seven days a week. He says the card would be valid for 12 months, from the summer until the start of the new school year.

Officials say they want to discount the card by 50%, with the price increasing from $58 to $70.

The last price adjustment made to Bee-Line student fares was in 2015.
