Westchester schools report positive test results
Two Westchester school districts are reporting positive COVID-19 test results.
Pleasantville Union Free School District is returning to hybrid instruction today. The district says there are currently four people associated with the Bedford Road School that have tested positive along with three people associated with Pleasantville High School.
In the Valhalla Union Free School District, one person from the Kensico School and three people from Valhalla Middle High School tested positive for COVID-19 over the holiday break. News 12 is told those with the virus were not in school while they were infectious, so there was no exposure to students or staff.
School officials are urging anyone who traveled over holiday break to follow the state's travel advisory guidelines.
