Westchester walk to end Alzheimer's draws over 1,000 participants

The Hudson Valley chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has raised over $600,000, with expectations of continued fundraising throughout October.

Over 1,000 people gathered at Westchester Community College in Valhalla for the Westchester Walk to End Alzheimer's event this weekend.
More than 6 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer's or other dementias.
The Hudson Valley chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has raised over $600,000, with expectations of continued fundraising throughout October.
News 12’s Lisa LaRocca, who lost her own mother to Alzheimer's/dementia, served as the emcee for Sunday’s event.
