The post is captioned “Champions of the World.” And in it, he thanked his family and supporters, and wrote that he still "can't believe it."
Messi's popular post currently has more than 65 million likes.
The 35-year old won his first World Cup ever by defeating France in penalty kicks.
The previous world record-setting Instagram post was set in 2019 of an egg that got 57 million likes.
