The Bulova Renegades were one of 250 teams in the fifth annual Mayor?s Cup Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. The players say their disabilities have no bearing on their ability to shoot hoops. Rudolfo Guevara says he?s still motivated and willing to work up a sweat. Some have more in common than the game. Husband and wife Jeff and Norma Millan believe their time on the court brings them closer together.
The tournament has the same rules as NCAA basketball, regulation court and basketball size. The Renegades are looking for a few good players to join a junior youth team.
