A driver was rescued by White Plains firefighters after his car went down a hill on Saturday.

Police say it happened on Putnam Avenue in the Battle Hill section of the city.

The driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle.

When emergency crews reached the driver, he was unconscious and needed resuscitation.

They said the driver was in stable condition as of Saturday evening.
