The White Plains New Year’s Eve ball was tested on Monday – making sure that it is good to go for its big night on Wednesday.
The ball, which has been around since 2004, and stage will be at the intersection of Main Street and Court Street.
"It's good for our businesses, it brings a lot of people into the city, and it's good for families a lot of people can walk in, see the ball drop, and be in bed 20 minutes later. So, it's a nice way to celebrate the new year," said Mayor Roach.
For those interested in attending, the viewing area will be around Court Street and Mamaroneck Avenue.
