Wildlife photographer helps hawk in distress in Rockland County

He went to check in on the hawk after a Facebook poster said they were concerned about its well-being, since it wasn’t moving much.

A local wildlife photographer is being thanked for helping an animal in need in the Hudson Valley.
Video from the photographer from Rockland shows them step in to help a red-tailed hawk near Route 9W in West Haverstraw.
He went to check in on the hawk after a Facebook poster said they were concerned about its well-being, since it wasn’t moving much.
After consulting some experts, the photographer took the bird to a nearby animal hospital.
He posted about eh encounter and people are lauding him for his actions.
There’s no word on what was wrong with the bird at this time.
