OVERNIGHT

Temperatures will be in the 40s during the overnight hours.

THE WEEK AHEAD

Monday morning is seasonably chilly, in the mid 40s. Otherwise, it's a very mild start to the week. Afternoon highs will be in the 60s every day with morning lows in the 50s. Expect temperatures to hit 70 in some neighborhoods Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The typical high this time of the year is only in the upper 50s. It will be dry through Wednesday.

RAIN RETURNS

Rain is likely to Thursday evening into Friday, though there is still some uncertainty about whether the rain will last into next Saturday. The storm system clears out for the second half of next weekend as of Sunday evening's forecast.

CHILLY LATER THIS MONTH

The first blast of legitimately chilly air is still beyond the 10-day forecast, but there are signs of a pattern flip that will bring cold weather for the first time this season toward the middle or end of the month.
