The Wings Academy boys hoops team flew past Bronx rival DeWitt Clinton High School Monday with a decisive victory.
At one point in the game, Wings was ahead 81-49. Wings held on to the lead with help from sophomore Mike Buffalo. Buffalo was the game MVP with 28 points and two assists.
Oscar Baltazar scored an impressive 17 points for Clinton, but the team couldn?t dig out of the hole.
Wings won handily by a score of 89-52.
Last year, Wings went 14-1 in the Bronx AA Division and finished in the final four of the PSAL playoffs. The Governors went 3-12 last season.
