A Las Vegas woman is expected to plead guilty in the DWI death of an Air Force veteran who grew up in Suffern.
Paul Maidman was killed April 9 in Las Vegas, where he had moved to live with his sister after eight years in the military. In a Monday court appearance, 29-year old Miranda Dalton went before a Las Vegas judge, waived her right to a hearing and decided to plead guilty to one count of driving under the influence resulting in death.
Dalton faces eight to 20 years behind bars.
