Itita Washington-Thompson faces charges of attempted arson after allegedly attempting to set a house on fire in Poughkeepsie.

Police discovered accelerants and fire damage at the scene, where individuals were present in the home during the incident.

Washington-Thompson has also been charged with reckless endangerment.
