Woman killed in fiery single-car crash in Monroe
Jodi Lester, 56, of Monroe, was driving a 2020 Hyundai when she veered off of Cedar Cliff Road and crashed, according to New York State Police. Her car then went up in flames.

A woman was killed during a fiery single-car crash in Monroe early Sunday morning, officials say.
Jodi Lester, 56, of Monroe, was driving a 2020 Hyundai when she veered off Cedar Cliff Road and crashed, according to New York State Police. Her car then went up in flames.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene just before 2:30 a.m.
Footage from the early-morning tragedy shows orange flames shooting from the Hyundai.
Police say firefighters extinguished the blaze and removed Lester from the car. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
According to investigators, Lester was the only person inside the car at the time of the crash.
Information about what caused her to veer off the road was not immediately known.
