Woman struck in the head with bottle during Highbridge brawl

The man walked up to the 31-year-old in front of 1258 Shakespeare Ave. just after 1 a.m. on April 5, according to authorities.

A woman was struck in the head with a bottle during a brawl in Highbridge, and police are searching for the man they say is responsible.

They say the man walked up to the 31-year-old in front of 1258 Shakespeare Ave. just after 1 a.m. on April 5.

He then started an argument with the woman, which turned physical.

Police say the man then struck the woman in the head with the bottle before taking off, running southbound on Shakespeare Avenue.

The woman suffered minor injuries but was not hospitalized.

Authorities say the man was last seen wearing a green sweater and tan pants.
