The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman wanted in connection with a robbery that left two other women injured in Eastchester Bay on Friday.
Detectives say an unidentified female suspect approached a 56‑year‑old woman around 1 p.m. near Randall Avenue and the Throgs Neck Expressway. The suspect then punched her and stole her chain, causing injuries to her face, chest and hip.
A 37‑year‑old woman attempted to intervene and was pushed to the ground, causing pain to her legs, according to police.
The suspect fled southbound on the Throgs Neck Expressway in a gray Nissan sedan. Both victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a female, light complexion, approximately 5-feet 5-inches, 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
