A Rockland Psychiatric Center worker has been caught living on the grounds rent free for years.
According to a state inspector general report, Henry Logue had a couch, microwave, refrigerator and numerous personal items locked in a room. Logue also registered his car at the center and received mail there.
"It is concerning that the management team was unaware of this or if they were aware they were culpable," says state Sen. Thomas Morahan.
The maintenance supervisor, who makes close to $100,000 annually, will now have to pay back more than $2,500. Officials estimate the room he was living in would cost $75 per month.
No one answered the door at Logue's Pearl River home that he shares with his wife.
