Some of the top athletes in the world are in Pleasantville this week for a big qualifying event, but it's for a sport you may not have thought of - table tennis.
Players from 32 countries are competing for $20,000 in prizes and the chance to qualify for a World Table Tennis competition.
Courage Naneevie came from Ghana to compete at the Westchester Table Tennis Center, the largest table tennis club in North America.
The center was opened 11 years ago by Will Shortz, who is also a puzzle editor for the New York Times.
"They're both brain games,” Shortz says.
He says it's a thrill to welcome some of the best players from around the world, including India, Germany and Ukraine.
The competition will run through Sunday.
