Yonkers man awaiting trial for 2 fatal stabbings found dead in jail cell

A Yonkers man charged in the 2021 death of a mother and daughter has been found dead in his cell.
Luis Ramos, 28, was found on Friday at the Westchester County Jail, according to the County Corrections Department.
Ramos was awaiting trial in the fatal stabbings of 70-year-old Isabella Triano and her 38-year-old daughter, Trisha Miller, in their Shipman Avenue home.
He was arrested a few days later in Arizona.
Ramos was also facing charges stemming from an arson case in Arizona.
His attorney had no comment on his death.
