A physical education teacher at Yonkers Middle High School has been arrested, accused of harassing a female student. Matthew Hausman, 59, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. Police say Hausman texted and talked with the student in a romantic and sexual way from Oct. 2024 through April of this year. Hausman is accused of calling the victim a curse word and insinuating he wanted to put her in a dog collar, saying he would give her better grades if she looked "cute." He is also accused of kissing the victim on her birthday.
