Yonkers police: Suspect arrested, 2 at large in armed robbery and carjacking

Police say they got a call about a person being robbed at gunpoint on Yonkers Avenue just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

Yonkers police say one suspect was arrested and two others are on the loose in connection to an armed robbery and carjacking.
Police say they got a call about a person being robbed at gunpoint on Yonkers Avenue just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
Police say three suspects assaulted the owner of a pickup truck and then drove away with the vehicle.
Yonkers police say they found the truck and followed it into the Bronx, where they say it lost control and crashed on the George Washington Bridge entrance ramp southbound on the Major Deegan Expressway. The ramp was shut down during the investigation.
One suspect was taken into custody according to police, while a search is ongoing for the other two suspects.
The victim is a 62-year-old man from out of state, who police say suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
News 12 was told no shots were fired during the armed robbery.
