Yorktown to bid final farewell to Town Supervisor Tom Diana

He was just sworn-in to his first full-term as town supervisor a week ago and attended a town board meeting on Tuesday.

The Yorktown community will come together today to say final goodbyes to longtime town leader Tom Diana.
He was just sworn-in to his first full-term as town supervisor a week ago and attended a town board meeting on Tuesday.
He died Friday morning at the age of 66. A wake for Diana is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Yorktown Funeral Home.
His funeral will be tomorrow morning at Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak.
Meantime, Deputy Supervisor Ed Lachterman has been appointed acting supervisor for up to 30 days while the town sorts out a succession plan.
