Fourteen suspected gang members and associates from the Double Nine Grim Reapers in Newburgh are facing racketeering, drugs and guns charges.
The U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York says several of the accused are charged with attempted murder and assault of a rival gang member. They are also facing charges in connection to an armed robbery of a drug dealer that involved shots fired and drug trafficking large amounts across the city of Newburgh and the state.
Authorities say gang co-founder Jeremy Williams, who is also known as Dubs, and Randy Jones, who is also known as Nickelz, are among the members facing charges.
