A 17-year-old girl faces multiple charges tied to a string of vehicle thefts in Rockland County, the Haverstraw Police Department announced.
The teenager was arrested Friday night as part of an ongoing investigation into recent larcenies from cars in the Garnerville area.
She has been charged with grand larceny and petit larceny, according to police. Following her arrest, the girl was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Youth Part of Superior Court at a later date.
Authorities noted she is one of several suspects identified in the case, with additional arrests expected as soon as the investigation progresses.
