Two players from the NCAA champion UConn Huskies were picked in the NBA draft last night.
The New Orleans Pelicans chose Jordan Hawkins in the first round with the 14th pick.
The Orlando Magic picked Andre Jackson Jr. in the second round with the 36th pick. He was then traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Gov. Lamont wrote in a tweet that the 'Forever Huskies' will surely continue to do great things all while making Connecticut proud.
