An initiative created during the coronavirus pandemic to help feed residents in the Nodine Hill neighborhood in Yonkers is still going strong.

A line still forms outside the Nodine Hill Community Center, showing the importance of the mobile food pantry.

The pantry offers basic staples, including eggs and milk.

The mobile food pantry comes once a month to the community center and is open to anyone who wants to come.

"These events allow us to just, you know, make a dent into the difficulties family are facing," says Corazon Pineda-Isaac, of the Yonkers City Council. The food pantry will return next month.
