State colleges could be the next option for migrant shelters in New York.

Gov. Kathy Hochul is considering the option as resources run scarce.

There is no word yet on which of the 64 SUNY institutions could house migrants.

Senate Republicans have introduced bills to block the use of the dorms for that purpose.

A SUNY spokesperson says they are assessing the situation to see if they have the resources to house asylum seekers.
